Children Experiment and Explore

Children are encouraged to experiment and explore in order to learn about the world around them.

1. Libraries create opportunities for infants, toddlers and preschoolers to engage in spontaneous investigation and experimentation.
2. Programs and spaces are provided that encourage imagination, stimulate language, introduce music, promote movement and inspire creativity.
3. Libraries provide resources for parents /caregivers that extend learning to the home through activities that continue children's exploration and experimentation.
