All About Books has amazing deals on children's books, especially board books. I've used them for a while in literacy, and since last year our children's librarians have been ordering from them as well. They will give 12 free books with every 100 books purchased, have free shipping and significant discounts. I've been really pleased with their service and quality. www.allaboutbooks.org

Star Bright Books also provides very good discounts, up to 70% off, if you are giving the books to families in need. The have a great variety of books in 16 languages, and they even have some materials suitable for teens. www.starbrightbooks.com

Finally, Lee and Low books provide fairly good discounts if you buy in bulk, and they have some of the best multicultural books I've seen, including some very cute titles in board books. www.leeandlowbooks.com

Hope these resources help!

Speaking of great board books. Here are a few of my "new favorites."

Global Babies by Charlesbridge
Baby's Day (series) by Candlewick Press
Bright Baby (series) by Priddy Books--now available as bilingual board books in Spanish and in English
First 100...(series) by Priddy Books

Check out Scholastic's new collection of interactive board books, "Little Scholastic." Some work better than others for the library setting but overall they are well intentioned.
